The reason my mother is so special is beacuse no matter what she has always been there for me. when the pressure of the day get hold of me she always can make me feel better, no matter what happens i always can count on her. well she's going to be great she had a great inspiration, my grandmother who is not here right now but she raised her to be the best mother she can be. She's my father and my mother she never leaves me alone. She is like the sun, even after the darkness of the world has come she's like the stars that still glow and shine in the midst of it all. Happy Mothers Day!

The reason my Mother is so special is because she chose to give me life...to carry me to full term. I wouldn't be here without her. All the wisdom that she has poured on me throughout my years has just been miraculous. I don't know what I'd do without her. Happy Mother's Day!

I believe all mothers are special...of course to each of us, we feel as though ours are the "most" special. My mom is a wonderful person who, even though I am already 36, is constantly encouraging me to strive for more, but at the same time, be happy with who I am. She raised 4 kids on her own. And even though we have let her down at times, she has never turned her back on any one of us. She is my Mom first, but she is also my best friend. I am now a mom as well, my daughter is 9. I can't imagine my life without her. I can wake up in a bad mood and one look at her smiling and never failing happy self and my whole attitude changes. My mom and my daughter are both blessing to me.

In 1978, I was involved in a major auto accident and my mom, Rosie was there w/me in the hospital @ every possible moment. I was comatose for 5 weeks and she was there. Dad had to drag her home to eat, shower and sleep.
When I awoke, I was transferred to Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey, CA where I remained for 6 months. Rosie was there every day, following a half hour drive.
My accident was when I was 21 years old and I'll be 53 on April 23rd. She's still w/me... ♥

Thanks for stopping by my Blog Party post!

Lovely giveaway... Well... My mother died when I was 6 year old. My first daughter was born in 2006 and we named her Delma after my mother. She filled a hole that had been in my heart all those years. She made me a mother, she made me a woman, she fixed a broken part of me.

My mom has sacrificed so much for each of her kids and is a super hard worker. Recently she was going to work (2 part-time jobs) and trying to become a LPN, but then suffered some heart problems, putting her dreams again on hold. I just wish she could go for her dreams after all she has done to help her children reach theirs.

I've always been so thankful that my mom taught me to stand up for myself, how to be strong and independent; but at the same time I watched her struggle with those precise attributes. I was there when my mom found herself and I love that in our relationship we have both been vulnerable. My mom is amazing.

My daughter is so special. I am a mom to five wonderful children ages 12,9,5,2,and 9 1/2 months. Our first four kids are fun, loving, energetic boys. When we found out we were having a girl, a daughter, I almost fell off the ultra sound table cause I was crying and laughing so hard; I was filled with such joy. My daughter is special because she is the first daughter born to my husbands side of the family for many generations. My daughter is special because the very moment my mother-in-law found out were having a grandaughter for her, it instantly form a new and stronger bond between the two of us. She had five boys and no daughters of her own. My beautiful daughter is so special because she has given me the opportunity to be girly and to buy girly things. To play dress up;to paint her toe nails, to put pretty bows and hats on her head, to dress her in girly ruffly dresses with tights and cute patten leather shoes, to love another blessing, another gift from God. My daughter is specail because God made her that way; special. And He made her especially for us to love, care for, nurture and raise.

My Mother is special for SO many reasons! She did so much for as as kids. She would always work overtime and cook dinner every night and bring us home little treats. She was always kind and loving. Then, about 11 years ago she tripped on the sidewalk and damaged a disk in her back. She has had multiple operations and nothing has worked. She has been since trying to live with her pain. Despite all this, she still is a loving and sweet Woman who would still do anything for my Brother and my self.

My mother's beauty, inside and out, radiates. She has an incredible eye and flair for fashion but is hard to shop for because she is so humble and rarely buys things for herself. She insists that me and my sisters save our money over buying her gifts. The reason why my mother deserves to be honored with this giveaway is because our family has been going through hard times these last two years and she continues to keep a positive attitude for me and my sisters. She turns heads everywhere we go through her positive spirit. Her style is simple, chic, and fun. Her energy, vivacity and spirit is infectious. I am so thankful for her. She is a beauty inside and out, and is my role model, in every sense. Please choose her.

My father passed away leaving my mom with 5 kids, 4 & under. My twin sisters were still in the hospital, just born when he left us. As you can imagine my mom was very busy and there didn't seem to ever be enough time to build lasting heirloom-type momentos. I lost my mom a few years ago, she passed before being able to meet my daughter. One of my biggest priorities is to build tangible heirlooms that my daughter will always be able to carry, holding a history of her family and the women and men who loved her and came before her. Your books are exactly what I've been looking for to begin this little journey with her. My mom was special and my daughter has so much of her inside her little heart... I am honored and blessed to know them both and be a part of their lives.
